Treasures from the Kangshung Face of Everest Trek: Part Six

By Jenny Jackson | April 11, 2014

GeoEx staffer Jenny Jackson and her husband, Brian Jackson, journeyed to Tibet in September, 2013, on GeoEx’s Kangshung Face of Everest Trek. The 22-day journey was, according to Jenny, “one of the most amazing trips we’ve ever taken.” This week Wanderlust is showcasing a portfolio of Brian’s eye-catching photos from their extraordinary adventure, with Jenny’s captions.

In the middle of soul-soaring vastness, the ruins of a mud-brick building symbolize the once-vital presence of humans on this isolated stretch of the Friendship Highway from Tingri to Nepal.
