Every Journey Is a Pilgrimage: Robert Thurman & Don George in Conversation

On Sunday, Nov. 10, acclaimed Buddhist scholar and GeoEx trip lecturer Dr. Robert Thurman will be appearing in conversation with Wanderlust editor in chief Don George at Cavallo Point in Sausalito, California. The duo will discuss the lessons Dr. Thurman has gleaned from his own sacred journeys and the notion that every journey, and every day, is a pilgrimage. The evening will begin with a reception from 5:00-6:00pm, where appetizers and drinks will be served. The conversation will take place from 6:00-7:15pm. This event is a benefit for Tibet House US. All proceeds from the $100 ticket will go directly to the organization’s work in preserving Tibetan culture, and the cost is fully tax deductible for attendees.
