Intentionally Small Groups
We keep our groups small on purpose, typically six to twelve travelers. Not just for comfort, but because it transforms the experience. It allows access to places larger groups can’t go, and it invites deeper conversations. It gives our guides the flexibility to read the moment, to pivot when something unexpected appears, and create space for unplanned moments that often become the most memorable.

We’re drawn to destinations that still surprise us: Bhutan, Algeria, Japan beneath the surface. These are not easy places to design for. They’re layered, complex, culturally rich, which is exactly why we go. Some are rarely explored. Others are well known, but we uncover what most travelers never get to see.

Ask our travelers what they remember most, and it’s not the thread count or the view, though those leave an impression. It’s standing beside a Mongolian eagle hunter at first light. Sitting in quiet exchange with a Bhutanese lama in a cliffside monastery. Raising a glass as the sun sets over the Zambian bush, the air alive with dusk.
