1 – 2

Arrive in Lusaka and settle into your elegant private chalet   Connect with Zambia's conservation efforts while visiting the Pangolin Rehabilitation Center   Explore the surrounding grasslands on game drives and walking safaris.

3 – 5

Fly to Mfuwe and drive to South Luangwa National Park   Encounter the park's unrivaled density of big game and explore by day and night, likely spotting leopards and large herds of buffalo and elephant.

6 – 9

Fly to Lower Zambezi National Park and arrive at camp via a private speedboat   Spend the next few days actively exploring the under-the-radar delights of the mighty Zambezi River and surrounds.

10 – 12

Fly to Kafue National Park, Zambia's oldest park and a little-visited, yet stunning safari destination  Immerse yourself in the untamed spirit of Busanga Plains, a seasonal floodplain teeming with wildlife.

An explorer from a young age, South African-born Brad Hansen has guided GeoEx travelers in Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Chad, the DRC, Botswana, and South Africa. Brad’s experience has earned him a spot on many stunning expeditions, including Kingsley Holgate's Great Rift Valley trek, which covered the geographic trench from start to finish.
