Treasures from the Kangshung Face of Everest Trek: Part Two

GeoEx staffer Jenny Jackson and her husband, Brian Jackson, journeyed to Tibet in September, 2013, on GeoEx’s Kangshung Face of Everest Trek. The 22-day journey was, according to Jenny, “one of the most amazing trips we’ve ever taken.” This week Wanderlust is showcasing a portfolio of Brian’s eye-catching photos from their extraordinary adventure, with Jenny’s captions.

Pilgrims from near and far spin prayer wheels outside the Potala Palace.  We were delighted to discover that women from eastern Tibet still wear traditional elaborate headdresses adorned with turquoise and other bangles.
