Vast Shan State offers many opportunities for beautiful walks through traditional villages, temple ruins and lovely countryside. We’re particularly fond of this extension, and it can be easily added to any tour which includes Inle Lake since no additional flights are required.
Day 1: drive to Pindaya from Inle Lake or Heho • Day 2: hike to Menetaung • Day 3: hike to Pinsein Inn and Taung Baw Gyi villages and back to Pindaya • Day 4: depart Pindaya.
