Southern Laos: Indochina's Last Wilderness
Little-visited southern Laos is bursting with ethnic diversity and color. Hills rich with unique tribes and customs, not to mention remarkable landscapes: lush green rice fields, coffee and tea plantations, surging waterfalls. We wend up to the cool and faraway Boloven Plateau, explore a host of pre-Angkoran temples, venture into the remote provinces of Attapeu and Sekong, and boat on the Mekong through the Khong Islands.
