The Galapagos Islands

Family Tours of the Galapagos Islands

Galapagos family tours

The Galapagos Islands offer a spectacular diversity of things to do and see for people of all ages. Aboard the 48 passenger La Pinta you’ll typically find several different activities at each stop, geared to folks of different ages and levels of mobility. Enjoy snorkeling in deep or shallow water, walking, hiking or communing with the abundant and ever-friendly wildlife. La Pinta carries a glass bottom boat for those that prefer to view marine life without getting wet and the ship’s lounges are equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows, so one can take in the islands in total comfort.

La Pintaalso offers the Young Pirates program, designed to allow children to fully absorb Galapagos at their own pace. The program includes “kids only” activities, special meals, interpretative recreational material, books, and more. The Young Pirates program is open to children 7 to 12 years of age.

Private Charters

For those that prefer a private charter, the Parranda sails with two naturalist-guides, giving you the ability to create separate activities designed specifically to fit the style and preferences of your group members. Onboard you will find a salon and entertainment area, dining room, spacious canopied sun deck, full bar, and seven nicely appointed en suite cabins.

On both vessels each evening presents an opportunity to learn more about the amazing flora and fauna of the Galapagos Islands, in preparation for the next day’s travel.
