We enjoy views of the active Arenal Volcano, continue eventfully to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve (which protects 400 bird species, 100 kinds of animals, and 1,500 plant species in eight distinct eco-zones), and tour the famed Butterfly Garden.

Day 1: USA to San José • Day 2: fly to Tortuguero • Days 3 & 4: Tortuguero • Day 5: boat transfer to Cano Blanco, drive to Arenal • Day 6: Arenal • Days 7 & 8: Monteverde Days 9: Monteverde and on to San José • Day 10: return to USA.
