Three of our itineraries combine a tour of Bhutan with another country. If you're a first-time visitor to Bhutan, maybe you'd like to spend a week in Bhutan combined with tours to India, Laos, or Nepal and Tibet

If you'd like an active trip, GeoEx offers half a dozen tours with day hikes or short treks. If you prefer to be outdoors hiking all day and come home to a hotel each night, a tour combined with day hikes lets you explore more remote villages and hidden valleys. These trips range from 12 to 14 days.

Or if you'd rather unzip your tent for a few mornings to the fresh mountain air and rough it just a little bit, GeoEx offers tours combined with a short trek, each between 3 and 6 days long. These trips range from 12 to 16 days total in length. If you're concerned about acclimatization, there's even a trip with a trek that stays below 5000 feet.

For the hardiest of trekkers, we have 9- and 11-day treks and even a 24-day trek to the far-flung corners of the kingdom. On these treks you can visit 23,000-foot Himalayan peak base camps or revel in crossing one or more passes above 15,000 feet. We've got a real roller coaster for anyone who enjoys bagging passes.

A typical trekking day lasts between six and eight hours and most treks involve extended time at higher elevations. GeoEx pampers its trekkers at well-appointed tented camps. Any trek requires pre-trip conditioning, a higher level of commitment in time and fitness, and greater flexibility and spirit of adventure.
