Simon Krejcik: Director for Asia
Simon is a seasoned world traveler who has most recently reveled in unique cultures, treks, sacred temples, and majestic scenery across Bhutan, Nepal, and the Indian subcontinent.
Our Bhutan Eye
A detail-oriented traveler and an avid photographer, Simon is responsible for crafting a boatload of stellar trips, as well as many of the mood-capturing images on our website. He travels beyond the surface with his lens and his insider knowledge. "Bhutan is such a special place," he says. "Its people are wonderfully kind and gentle, perhaps because the country has remained relatively untouched by outside influence. It's a pleasure to plan trips that share this amazing and unique world with our travelers, especially now, as the country is changing."
His Favorite Bhutan Trips to Plan
I've especially enjoyed working with Karen Greenspan, a woman who studies and writes about dance and was very interested in Bhutanese dances. On the second Custom Trip I organized for her to Bhutan, I set up private dance lessons at The Royal Academy of Performing Arts in Thimphu. She was thrilled by the experience and wrote an excellent article about it that was published in the Natural History magazine and Tashi Delek, the Druk Air inflight magazine! I just planned her third trip to Bhutan for next spring, this time arranging for her to study dance at the Punakha tshechu (festival).

“Simon was fantastic. He provided great suggestions for an itinerary based upon what I wanted to experience, and prior and during the trip he was highly responsive and accessible.”
