In-Conversation Events

One of our favorite pastimes is inviting our best-loved storytellers to share their adventures with us. Whether they are icons of the literary world or experts in their own field, we relish hearing their experiences and appreciate the way they propel us towards our own travel imaginings.

Pico Iyer on Falling in Love with Asia

Please join us for an evening with celebrated writer and world traveler Pico Iyer in conversation with our own Wanderlust editor-in-chief and award-winning author, Don George. Pico and Don will discuss how both of their lives have become intricately connected with Asia. They'll share the wonders and lessons they have discovered during their travels there, as well as around the world. We hope you'll join us for an intimate and unforgettable evening—their previous conversations have electrified audiences!

Guests are warmly invited to attend a reception before the event; appetizers and drinks will be served.

Pico Iyer is the author of numerous acclaimed travel books, including Video Night in Kathmandu, The Lady and the Monk, Tropical Classical, The Global Soul, and Falling Off the Map, as well as two novels and a portrait of the Dalai Lama. His latest book is The Art of Stillness: Adventures in Going Nowhere.

Event Giveaway: One lucky attendee will win two round-trip economy-class tickets to Asia aboard Singapore Airlines in a drawing at the close of the program, courtesy of Singapore Airlines. (Restrictions apply.)
